ختمة Khatmah – مصحف،أذان،أذكار is an app designed to assist users in completing the recitation of the Holy Quran within a chosen timeframe. It provides daily reading assignments, known as a wird, based on the user’s preferred completion schedule, and includes customizable daily alarms to remind them of their reading. Beyond Quran recitation, the app also offers a suite of integrated Islamic tools, including accurate prayer times, Adhan notifications, and a Qibla locator, serving as a comprehensive daily companion for over 30 million users.

Quran Recitation and Tracking

The core function of the Khatmah app is to facilitate the completion of the Quran. Users can specify either the total duration they wish to take to complete a Khatmah or the specific quantity of verses they aim to read daily. The app then generates a daily reading assignment, or wird, tailored to these preferences. This daily wird can be read directly within the app, which features a high-quality Mushaf verified by the King Fahd Complex. To help maintain consistency, users can set a daily alarm to remind them of their reading time. The app also supports browsing the Quran by Surahs or Juz’ (parts).

Prayer Times and Adhan Notifications

The app provides accurate prayer times for cities worldwide. Users receive timely alerts for the Adhan (call to prayer) and can also set pre-Adhan notifications. This ensures users are informed of prayer times regardless of their location.

Athkar and Daily Reminders

Khatmah includes a collection of Athkar (supplications), such as morning and evening prayers. It also features a daily reminder system for specific Athkar and Sunnah practices, like reciting Surat Al-Kahf on Fridays.

Qibla Direction and Widgets

For convenience, the app incorporates a Qibla locator to help users determine the correct direction for prayer. Additionally, it offers five types of widgets that can be added to a device’s home screen, providing easy access to prayer times at a glance.
